200 Nights of Reading 200 Nights of
Let the reading begin! 200 Nights of Reading is a leisure reading program that will run from October 12 th , 2009 – April 29 th , 2010. Our theme for this year is “Rainforest Readers”. The program is a great way to encourage our students to read every day! Students who read for 15 minutes each night should check off the box on the calendar. Turn in your calendar to the library by the date posted at the bottom to receive credit for your reading. To receive credit for their calendar, students must read at least 40 out of the 50 nights. If a calendar is turned in with less than 40 boxes checked off, the student will not receive credit for that calendar. For each calendar turned in, students will receive a small prize to keep them motivated. Students can also track their progress on the bulletin board by the front entrance to the school. At the end of the year, students who have turned in all 4 calendars throughout the year will earn a medal for their accomplishment!
