Mission Statement
Our mission is to preserve the school facilities while creating, enhancing, and sustaining an environment that supports the students, faculty, staff and members of the community. While maintaining a clean, professional, safe, and mechanically sound infrastructure we remain environmentally conscientious and responsible to our spending guidelines.

The Buildings & Grounds Department is committed to providing quality services in a responsive and caring manner. We provide support to the faculty, administration, community members and students in countless ways sharing the responsibility of making the students learning experience a positive one. The Paramus School District�s Buildings & Grounds Department consists of 60 custodial, maintenance and grounds personnel who maintain over 750,000 square feet of educational and administrative space with over 140 acres of grounds and athletic facilities. The District�s 8 school buildings houses 4,500 students, 750 staff members and provides facility usage throughout the year to the community for many different functions.

We encourage comments and suggestions that will further contribute to our ongoing commitment to provide and maintain hazard-free and flexible facilities to accommodate student and community needs.
